Introducing DGrade’s Reusable Face Mask Made From 100% Recycled Plastic Bottles
October 27, 2020, 11:05 am
DGrade has announced the launch of the new Greenspun® Face Mask made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. The Dubai based company known for recycling plastic bottles into clothing and accessories developed the reusable fabric face mask to help reduce PPE waste and divert plastic from landfill.
The fabric face masks are made with DGrade’s Greenspun® yarn which is produced from upcycled plastic bottles. Compared to conventional polyester yarn, manufacturing Greenspun® yarn uses less energy, less water, no oil, and produces fewer carbon emissions.
Designed with three layers of fabric, the Greenspun® Mask has an outer layer made of lightweight canvas and inside layers made of breathable quick dry fabric. The interior of the mask also contains a pocket that fits a replaceable PM2.5 filter.
Available in two sizes, adult and kids, the masks have adjustable straps and a nose clasp for comfort and added security.
Greenspun® Face Masks can be purchased for individual sale in black, blue, green, red and denim colours for AED 23 per mask atdgrade.com/shop.
The masks are also ideal for employees and students. Organisations ordering in bulk have the option to print logos or graphics on face masks and may request a custom colour for volume orders. For more information contact sales@dgrade.com.
